Leon Wilkeson
Founder, Majority Owner & Storm Restoration Specialist
Leon Wilkeson brings more than 15 years of experience in the roofing and storm restoration industry, helping homeowners, businesses, property managers, and HOA communities recover from some of the most devastating storms to impact the Southeastern United States.
Over the course of his career, Leon has overseen and managed more than $34 million in roofing projects, specializing in complex residential and commercial roofing systems including tile, shingle, metal, flat roofing, and storm restoration. During the aftermath of major hurricanes — including Hurricane Irma — Leon worked extensively throughout Florida helping communities navigate restoration and coordinating large-scale projects across entire neighborhoods.
Having worked nearly every major hurricane event impacting the Southeast over the last decade, Leon brings extensive expertise in storm damage evaluation, insurance restoration, project management, customer advocacy, and roofing system replacement.
Leon is a HAAG Certified Wind and Hail Damage Inspector — one of the industry's most respected certifications — and a Ludowici Certified Installer, demonstrating specialized expertise in premium clay tile roofing systems. Prior to launching FreeBird, Leon spent seven years with one of Southwest Florida's largest residential roofing contractors.

Torey Geile, P.E.
Partner, Professional Engineer & Licensed Contractor
Torey Geile brings more than 30 years of experience in the construction and roofing industry. As a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Florida, Torey combines technical expertise with practical construction knowledge that few professionals possess.
In addition to his engineering credentials, Torey holds a Florida Building Contractor License and multiple Florida Roofing Contractor Licenses. Long before earning his engineering degree from the University of Florida, Torey was installing roofs while working his way through college — giving him a unique perspective that blends engineering principles with real-world construction experience.
Throughout his career, Torey has been committed to serving both his clients and his community. As a former City Councilman for the City of Destin, Florida, he has contributed significantly to community development while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
His engineering background, combined with decades of hands-on construction experience, provides FreeBird with a unique advantage when evaluating roofing systems, construction challenges, and long-term building performance.
